With the signature on 20 September, the RECREATE capitalisation project continues the excellent results of the previous RETRACKING of the Interreg Italia – Slovenia 2014-2020 programming period.
Project aims to enhance the business model for the management of the materials in Fiber reinforced composites (FRC) by involving both subjects that produce waste (citizens and companies) and companies that manage waste, as well as subjects that use the products in Recycled FRC (municipalities and companies).
RECREATE is an innovative project that involves the public, starting from schools, to carry out the targeted collection of thermosetting and composite plastics. The materials recovered in the collection centers, organized by municipal waste management companies, will then be transformed by Gees Recycling into street furniture or products useful for teaching.
The Lead Partner is Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico Andrea Galvani scpa, which will collaborate together with 5 project partners. The project started on 25th September 2023. The duration will be 24 months. More information published on the project page https://www.ita-slo.eu/it/recreate.
